According to IranianDoctor.org, a doctor is a medical practitioner who does health check-ups and diagnoses issues related to a person’s mental or physical health. Doctors are an important part of the society. Iranian doctors specialize in different fields to treat and cure different kinds of health problems. The field of medical science is vast and it takes years of education and rigorous training to get into this profession.

Iranian doctors belong to one of the most noble and respectable professions. Their job requires them to study for an extensive length of time and work for long hours. As many enter this profession after passing extremely difficult examinations and spending years training, this job requires a certain level of determination and passion for humanity that only a few may have.

Iranian doctors and physicians have a great power over life and death decisions, particularly those affecting the terminally ill. That is why people place great faith in Persian doctors because the physician has the pharmaceutical background and knowledge to make an informed and objective decision. But are the important factors in choosing a doctor?

The Importance of Liking Your Doctor

Most of us place a huge amount of confidence in our doctors, entrusting them with our health and, at times, with our very lives. What are the qualities that make a good doctor? Certainly, experience and credentials matter. You want a doctor who graduated from a good medical school, who has a good reputation. Going to an Iranian doctor is an exercise in brisk communication, trust and vulnerability and talking about your health concerns isn’t easy. Add to this crunch time a new doctor who rushes in, fails to provide an introduction and talks down to you throughout the session. But doctors with bad manners aren’t merely an added frustration while you’re sick but there’s evidence they could be hazardous to your health.

While most of the published research into the doctor-patient relationship focuses on communication skills and behaviors, there are also non-behavioral aspects of these relationships. The survey results show ‘liking’ is a key factor of the doctor-patient relationship. This concept, proves the associations between how much the physician liked the patient and both the doctor’s and the patient’s satisfaction with the visit.

Patient’s Role in Treatment

The first thing on the list of things that Iranian doctors dislike is patients who don’t admit to not taking their medicine. Noncompliance with advice or treatment recommendations was also the top complaint found in a physician survey. This will impact the Iranian doctor’s ability to provide optimum care because they base the treatment plan in part on what patients tell them. If patients say the medication isn’t working and in truth they did not take it as ordered they could incorrectly tweak the dose or change the drug altogether. “Noncompliance” happens for many reasons. But patients need to be truthful and try to establish a workable plan so treatment can go smoother and faster.
