Iranian actress Setareh Eskandari was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress award at the Redline International Film Festival in Canada.

She was nominated for her role in ‘Chemical’, directed by Ashkan Masti, ifilmtv.ir reported.

Elli Tringou from Austria and Blanca Vivancos from the United States will also vie for the same title in the festival.

According to the film’s synopsis: “Just wondering if I was a boss before being a teacher? Or is it the other way around? That was what you wished for, you wanted to play the game.”

The cast of the film includes Setareh Eskandari, Aria Tavassoli, Amir Qasemi and Shida Khaliq.

Redline International Film Festival is currently a monthly short film festival and competition based in Toronto, Canada. The award-giving ceremony will be held on May 31.

The goal for the event is to reward and promote the best of the world’s indie short films.
