The vice-president of Iran’s Women’s Badminton Federation has been elected by the Asian Badminton Technical Committee as the head referee for International Badminton Tournament to be held in Bangladesh late in December.
Fariba Madadi has previously served as the head referee in three international events.
Two Iranian referees namely Hermin Armin Mehr and Mojtaba Tayi have also been invited by the Bangladesh Badminton Federation to judge in the tournament.
The competition is scheduled for December 26-29 in Dhaka, the capital and largest city of Bangladesh.
