TEHRAN, Jul. 04 (MNA) – Iranian ambassador to Indonesia Valiollah Mohammadi Nasrabadi and Indonesia’s Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Minister Yohana Susana Yembise discussed ways to improve bilateral cooperation on women affairs.

Touching upon the a conference which is going to be held next month in Tehran under the theme of ‘role of ICT in women empowerment’, Nasrabadi handed the official invitation letter to the Indonesian minister, which was sent by Iranian Vice President for Women and Family Affairs, Masoumeh Ebtekar.

The Iranian ambassador further explained Iran’s achievements in empowering women and said that Tehran is ready to expand ties with Jakarta in this regard.

The Indonesian minister, for her part, said that she is eager to travel to Tehran and discuss details of cooperation with Iranian officials.

Yembise also hoped that some MoUs would be inked during her visit to Tehran.
