The first exhibition of artworks of handicapped women is to be held March 12-17 at Tehran’s Milad Tower.
The festival aims at empowering women’s capabilities and discovering artistic talents of handicapped women, said Zahra Behrouz Azar, head of women’s department of Tehran Municipality.
The festival will be held simultaneous with the Iranian-Islamic fashion and clothing exhibition which is to be held in 22 districts of Tehran, ISNA reported.
Out of 110 handicapped women artists, 40 are selected to participate in the exhibition.
