The National Network of Non-Governmental Organizations has been formed to promote sports, especially cycling, athletics, and swimming, in society.

The doping charges brought against Bahrain's 400 meter world champion Salwa Eid Naser were dismissed, the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) announced.
