China Travel Channel broadcast a program on Iran’s artistic and cultural beauties which are unique in the world.

The 30-minute show, which was attended by Iran’s Chargé d’Affaires in China Hassan Shah-Beig, aired photos related to Iran’s art, culture, monuments, memorials and tourist attractions IRNA reported.

In the program, Shah-Beig introduced Persian carpet and other Iranian handicrafts noting that carpets are part of the daily life of the Iranians and they are found in nearly all homes. He pointed out that the art of carpet weaving in Iran dates back to several thousand years.

He also presented detailed information about Iran’s tourist attractions such as Persepolis in Fars Province and Si-o-se Pol in Isfahan complete with footages on these historical sites.

He elaborated on the time, construction, history and architecture of Persepolis.

The guests and the experts in the program narrated their experience about Iran and visiting monuments and other various cultural beauties.

The program whose setting was decorated with Iran’s traditional art and handicrafts also included performance by two Iranian instrumentalists playing traditional Iranian pieces.
