Iranian film “Cold Sweat” directed by Soheil Beiraghi has gone on the silver screen at the cinema theaters in UK and Ireland since November 21, 2019.
Cold Sweat tells the story of Afrooz who is the captain of the women’s futsal team in Iran. After 11 years of hard work, her dream comes true: Iran is in the final of the Asian Nations Cup. But when she embarks for Malaysia, she learns that her husband forbids her to leave the territory.
Home Manchester and ICA London Curzon Bloomsbury are among London’s cinema theaters that have showed the Iranian films.
“Cold Sweat” was also screened in 9 cinema theaters in Ireland.
The Iranian film has enjoyed successful screening in US, France, Australia, Sweden, Argentina and Chile.
