The Iranian team, the champion of Iran’s Dragon Boat Premier League, represented the country in the event, which began on Wednesday.
Iranian women faced rivals on Friday in the finals of the 10-person and 8-person 500-meter races and the 10-person 2,000-meter competition.
In the 8-person 500-meter race, Avash Persian Gulf competed against the Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and the first and second Chinese teams, and in the end, scored their first gold in the tournament.
The Iranian women’s team also competed against the other five teams in the 8-person 500-meter race and finished as the runner-up. The Chinese teams grabbed the gold and silver in the race.
