Fasihi, the runner-up in the Asian 100 meters event, managed to get the right to participate in the world championship athletics competitions through ranking.
Fasihi was allowed to participate in these competitions by obtaining the necessary points and placing in the 44th place of the World Federation ranking table, and the city of Budapest, Hungary, became the venue for these competitions.
The World Athletics Championship will be hosted by Budapest, Hungary, from August 18, 2023, and Farzaneh Fasihi will be the sole representative of Iran’s athletics in these competitions.
