The Iranian women claimed the title at the Alysh wrestling Asian Championships in Kyrgyzstan.

The Alysh Asian Championships was held in Osh, Kyrgyzstan, and at the end of the competition, the Iranian women’s national team with 6 representatives managed to achieve one gold, four silver and one bronze medals.

The national teams of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan stood at the second and third place respectively.

Sara Alipour won the gold medal in the 57 kg category and Sepideh Babaei won the silver medal in the 55kg catagory.

Sahar Ghanizadeh and Sheida Fahimi won the silver medal respectively in the 70 kg and 65kg categories.

Fatemeh Fattahi won the bronze in the weight category of 60kg and Hanieh Ashouri won the silver medal in the competition of the 75kg.

Also, in the men’s competition, Iran took part with 6 wrestlers and finished by winning only one bronze medal.
