On Monday evening, a meeting of the Tehran Provincial Planning and Development Council was held andattended by Massoumeh Ebtekar, Vice President for Women and Family Affairs, and Soraya Sharghi, Director General of Women and Family Affairs.
At the meeting, Anoushirvan Mohseni Bandpey, governor general of Tehran, said, “In the social emergency services discussion, we were able to obtain a permit from the State Administrative and Recruitment Organization to officially hire the personnel involved in these emergency services.

Mohseni Bandpey announced the improvement of the quality of social emergency services in Tehran province and the provision of these services on a ۲۴-۷ period and said, “It is unacceptable for us that the city of Baharestan, with a population of ۶۰۰,۰۰۰ people lacks social emergency services.”

He emphasized on improving the quality of services provided to clients in the field of social emergency, saying, “The quality of social emergency services in the province should be upgraded and we seek to provide social emergency services ۲۴-۷ in Tehran.”

The governor general of Tehran stated, “If we consider development as a concept with different economic and cultural dimensions, it is important to know that the most important pillar is realizing the development of skilled, creative and efficient human resources.”

“We are following up on the cases in the field of women’s policy issues, and helpful steps have been taken so far. Furthermore, at a meeting with female entrepreneurial activists in Tehran, I emphasized that the Tehran governorate is fully supportive of entrepreneurs,” he continued.

He said, “Today, in poor economic conditions, we are working round the clock to realize the slogan of production and we have decreed that can go to the Tehran governorate at any time if they face a problem and no one production unit should be shut down. In ۲۰۱۸, the government created ۸۰۰,۰۰۰ jobs and reduced the unemployment rate in Tehran by ۲.۲ in just six months.”
