The Iranian team won against Singapore on Saturday in their fifth match at the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s Asia and Oceania Championship.
The Iranians had already beat their rivals from India, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan and the UAE to advance into the semi-final where they played against Singapore.
The IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s Asia and Oceania Championship kicked off in Bangkok on April 30. It will wrap up on Sunday, May 7, when Iran will play against Thailand.
