The 7th edition of Women Media Arts and Film Festival will be held May 1-7, 2023 in Sydney.
The festival represents media arts and film works by women through roles as writers, producers and directors.
The main program consists of award winning short and feature length films and media arts works produced, written and directed by women from Australia and around the world.
A number of films from Australia, Germany, US, Canada, China, Spain, Belgium, South Korea, Estonia, Panama and Iran will be screened at this edition of the festival.
Abyar is a film director, author, and screenwriter, best known for directing “Track 143”, “Breath”, “When the Moon Was Full” and “Objects in mirror are closer than they appear”.
