A woman to be appointed as deputy of Iran’s Permanent Mission to UN

For the first time after the Islamic Revolution, a woman will be appointed as secretary of Iran’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations.

Dr. Zahra Ershadi, Director-General of Human Rights and Women at Ministry of Foreign Affairs will start her works as Second Secretary of Permanent Mission of Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations in New York soon.
