A senior Georgian scholar said Persian language and literature were among the main disciplines in the country’s four universities and most of the university students were interested in participating in Iran and completing their courses.
‘Increasing knowledge courses in Persian language at Payame Noor University’s Persian language training center had excellent results for the Georgian students,’ Head of the Orientology section of the University of Georgia Alexander Cholokhadze said.
In addition to having a lot of progress in academic knowledge, the students have caused an incentive for other students, he added.
Welcoming joint cooperation between the universities of Payame Noor and Georgia, Cholokhadze underlined that Georgian universities are interested in expanding the interactions between the two universities in the fields like archaeology or information technology.
