The Vice President for Women and Family Affairs said the implementation of a family-oriented plan aimed at building family skills, a resilience plan for helping affected people, and a plan to help NGOs are what her office is doing to reduce post-disa

Masoumeh Ebtekar announced at the Family Health Survey held for those affected by the flood the implementation of three plans to help the affected families, and said, “Implementing a family-centered plan aimed at raising family skills, a resilience plan for helping affected people, and helping NGOs are our plans to reduce post-accident crises and help people affected by floods.”

Ebtekar also said, “We are trying to accelerate the implementation of the Women’s Situation Promotion Act, which was written before the flood, to improve the lives of women affected by floods.”

Ebtekar stated, “We are in a position to help women in 2019 with welfare grants and special facilities for the employment of rural women, which will soon be announced.”

She highlighted the resilience plan of local communities in other projects, saying that, “The priorities of this Vice Presidency are issues related to the floods, and we will support reconstruction, employment and economic activities.”

Ebtekar continued, “The Golestan flood relief meeting will be held and on April 27th, NGOs will have a three-day energy efficiency program on crisis management and a return to normal conditions.”
