Vatican’s Ambassador to Tehran Andeji Yusovic on Monday appreciated the role played by the Iranian women in the society.
Speaking during a visit to Jami’at al-Zahra, the Vatican ambassador said that given the high educated women in Iran, he sees a bright future for the country.
Jami’at al-Zahra is considered as the world’s main Shia seminary for women.
Yusovic said that it was very interesting for him that in this institution, in addition to nurturing the soul and spiritual education, women’s physical health is important as well.
Noting that no country would be able to develop without the progress of its women, he hailed the educated Iranian society.
